Far to the Northwest is the near frozen and rocky land of Tiversti. Along the Crone’s Coast by the Sea of Claws this land sits and prospers. Even the occasional greenskin or Norseman incursion is never enough to keep these people down. The Kings Lancers, a group of horsemen wielding shields and short lances, has kept the peace and protected the capital for many years. For most of the populace, this land is cold and remorseless but it is home. Few things are exported from this land other than gold, ivory and oil; this keeps the merchantile and noble classes very wealthy but not much loved by their peoples. (Think Russians)
Capital city is Kholm, a warm spot in a cold land. From Kholm, Prince Kopeck Rules Tiversti with a cold and iron fist. His land is a brutal one overrun now and again by greenskins and assaulted by the Niflhiem. Kholm is a bastion of hope and a temple to stability, standing in the headwaters of the River Neck and holding out against raids, attacks, and sieges for hundreds of years. Also in Kholm stands the Grand Cemetery, the headquarters for the church of Volos. Other cities of note include: Mikun, the city next to the Mantle Mountains that does a vigorous business dealing with dwarven made arms and armor; Okha, the city at the mouth of the river neck that deals with all river traffic and takes care of many a raider looking to move further inland; Rylsk, a city on the edge of shipwreck coast whose soul job is to warn of invaders and to search for lost sailors and ships; and Uren, the city of shipwrights, they cut into the dense forests of the motherland to fashion some of the strongest ships in the world.
